I side with the Queen of All Media, Ms. Kris Aquino against Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson's post on social media comparing President Duterte to former Senator Ninoy Aquino.

On Facebook, Mocha reposted old footage of the late Ninoy Aquino – Kris' father – being kissed by two women moments before he was gunned down at the tarmac of what was then the Manila International Airport.

Mocha did this to defend Duterte from backlash after he kissed a Filipina during a state-funded official event in South Korea.

Kris quickly reacted to Mocha and asked for her to apologize for the inappropriate comparison but the Communications Assistant Secretary instead aired a live video telling the actress that the post was not about her therefore did not offered any apology for the incident.

Though Uson was very firm with her stand not to apologize for the social media post, Special Assistant to the President Christopher "Bong" Go extended his apology to Kris Aquino. President Rodrigo Duterte also expressed his sincerest apology to Ninoy Aquino's youngest daughter.

From the very first place, it is not right to compare Ninoy and the President in a kissing incident that is very far from each other. The two are incomparable in this case.

Ninoy was never and has never been a womanizer. He was loyal to his wife, then President Cory Aquino. Until his last breath, he was only sharing a bed with her unlike Duterte who was annulled to his first wife and is together with his common-law wife.

So it was very illogical for Mocha Uson to compare two personalities with different history when it comes to womanizing. A slice of the entire story can never be suffice to justify her reasonings whatever it may be.

That is why I stand with our fellow Filipinos in supporting Ms. Kris Aquino in defending the true image of former Senator Ninoy Aquino.
